Head of Social & Influence

About the role

Wilson Hartnell, part of the Ogilvy network, is seeking a visionary Head of Social & Influence to lead the evolution of its social and influencer capabilities. Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the Senior Leadership Team, you will shape a social‑first strategy that amplifies the agency’s award‑winning PR work across digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Transform PR and communications campaigns into high‑impact social experiences that drive audience engagement and measurable results.
• Design and execute a commercial social offering, turning expertise into a sustainable revenue stream.
• Lead the development and implementation of an AI‑driven roadmap to enhance social planning, content creation, and performance analytics.
• Educate and mentor internal teams on social best practices, emerging platforms, and influencer marketing trends.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of best‑in‑class social and influencer campaigns for marquee clients such as Guinness, Baileys, Coca‑Cola, and IKEA.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in social media, influencer marketing, or digital communications.
• Strategic vision combined with a hands‑on approach to campaign execution.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to build profitable service lines.
• Curiosity and comfort with emerging technologies, particularly AI applications in social.
