Head of Training Strategy & Growth – EMEA

About the role
Cloudera is looking for a strategic leader to shape and expand its Training business across the EMEA region. You will act as the market’s voice, translating customer and ecosystem insights into a compelling training portfolio that drives growth and supports digital transformation.
Key responsibilities
- Define and own the EMEA training strategy, aligning offerings with market demand, emerging trends such as AI and data, and regional priorities.
- Gather and synthesize market insight, field feedback, and delivery experience to create clear requirements for new content and portfolio evolution.
- Collaborate with enablement, content, sales and product teams to ensure training solutions are relevant, scalable and commercially viable.
- Build and scale a training ecosystem that includes partners, academic institutions and strategic alliances.
- Identify and activate new demand channels, including enterprise L&D budgets, workforce transformation programs and public‑sector initiatives.
- Maintain alignment across sales, delivery and development to guarantee consistency between what is sold, delivered and created.
- Establish a feedback loop on adoption, quality and gaps to continuously improve the training portfolio.
Required profile
- Strong background in professional services or consulting with a proven ability to turn market needs into structured offerings.
- Experience working across multiple stakeholders such as sales, delivery and product/enablement.
- Commercial awareness of how services and training generate revenue.
- Experience with partnerships, ecosystem development or education programmes is a strong advantage.
- Highly proactive, structured and comfortable operating in a fast‑changing environment.
