Health Care Assistant

About the role

We are looking for compassionate Health Care Assistants to join our team at Ratoath Manor Nursing Home. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will support residents in daily activities, ensuring their comfort, dignity and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Implement personalised care plans to improve residents’ quality of life.
• Provide personal assistance with hygiene, mobility and safe practices.
• Engage residents in social activities and promote a supportive atmosphere.
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver integrated, team‑based care.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Friendly, caring personality with excellent communication skills.
• Strong desire to support and uplift others.
• Reliability, empathy and commitment to high‑quality care.
• At least one year of experience as a Healthcare Assistant (preferred).
• FETAC Level 5 module in Care of the Elderly (preferred).

Required skills

• Patient moving and manual handling training.
