Healthcare Assistant – Malahide Road – €14.79 per hour

About the role

CareChoice is seeking compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join its team at the Malahide Road nursing home. You will work alongside experienced nursing staff to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support nursing staff in providing holistic care to residents.
• Maintain residents' hygiene and personal care while preserving dignity.
• Assist with eating, drinking and nutrition needs.
• Help residents mobilise safely using appropriate aids.
• Escort or transfer residents as directed by nursing staff.
• Provide assistance in end‑of‑life care when required.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by nurses or management.

Required profile

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or a comparable qualification.
• Good command of English.
• Warm, caring attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, nights and weekends.
