Healthcare Assistant – Up to €21.50/hr, Flexible Hours

About the role

Join a supportive care team as a Healthcare Assistant, providing one‑to‑one support to clients in their homes across Roscommon and Leitrim. You will help people maintain independence, enjoy a safe environment, and feel valued every day.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily personal tasks such as washing, dressing, and meals.
• Support mobility, encourage independence, and help with safe transfers.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and monitor wellbeing.
• Report any concerns or changes in health status to the supervising team.
• Help create a comfortable, safe home environment for each client.

Required profile

• Full Irish driving licence and access to a car.
• QQI Level 5 or equivalent caring qualification.
• Caring, reliable, and positive attitude.
• Experience in care is an advantage but not essential; retail, hospitality or customer‑service backgrounds are welcomed.
