HGV Oil Tanker Driver – Cork Depot

About the role

Top Oil is seeking a qualified HGV Oil Tanker Driver to join its Cork depot. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, transporting and delivering oil safely and professionally, while maintaining excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload oil tankers in line with company procedures and legal standards.
• Deliver oil to customers promptly, ensuring safe handling and environmental care.
• Maintain accurate paperwork, including daily stock reconciliation, loading dockets and delivery records.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks, report defects, and ensure the truck is kept in optimal condition.
• Handle cash transactions securely and reconcile them at the end of each shift.
• Promote the company’s services, identify sales opportunities and pass leads to the depot.

Required profile

• Current C licence.
• Valid ADR/Hazchem certification.
• CPC certificate.
• Experience in logistics, freight or oil transport.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and professional demeanor.
