HR Co‑ordinator – Newcastle West

About the role

We are seeking an HR Co‑ordinator to join Sysco’s team in Newcastle West, Limerick. The successful candidate will support day‑to‑day HR operations in a fast‑paced foodservice environment, ensuring smooth onboarding, accurate data management and high‑quality employee service.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the new‑starter onboarding process and act as the first point of contact for employee queries.
• Maintain HR systems, files and data with a high level of accuracy.
• Review and update HR policies and procedures on an annual basis.
• Support HR projects and drive continuous improvement of service delivery.
• Assist with Learning & Development events and other HR initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR support role within a fast‑paced environment.
• Relevant HR qualification (degree) and/or CIPD certification.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• High integrity, confidentiality and excellent communication skills.
• Full clean B driving licence for occasional travel.

Required skills

• Experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
• Proficiency in HR and Time & Attendance systems.
• Data cleansing and data‑management capabilities.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
