HR Generalist

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Generalist to join Nua Healthcare Services in Naas. The role will support the delivery of HR services across our residential and supported living facilities, with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general administration for the HR department, including maintaining employee personnel files in line with GDPR and HIQA requirements.
• Administer and support employee health, safety, welfare and wellbeing programmes.
• Develop, update and maintain HR policies and procedures.
• Contribute to department goals, succession planning and HR metrics analysis.
• Represent HR in team and cross‑functional meetings.
• Conduct employee relations investigations, disciplinary and grievance hearings.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, including work permits.
• Administer company pension, benefits package and discount schemes.
• Support line managers on employee issues and liaise with the Employee Assistance Programme.
• Assist with absence management in partnership with the Risk & Liability Manager.

Required profile

• Energetic and enthusiastic with a strong interest in HR.
• Proven experience handling employee relations cases at all levels.
• Good knowledge of Irish employment law and data protection requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a hybrid team.
