About the role
This 12‑month fixed‑term position is for an experienced HR Manager to lead the people agenda at a manufacturing site in Ballybay, Co. Monaghan. You will partner closely with senior leadership to shape culture, drive employee engagement and support the business’s growth.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the site HR strategy in line with business objectives.
- Deliver an exceptional employee experience across the full employee lifecycle.
- Lead performance management, talent development and succession planning initiatives.
- Partner with site leadership on workforce planning and organisational development.
- Coach and support managers to strengthen people‑management capabilities.
- Lead and develop the on‑site HR team.
- Ensure HR policies, procedures and employment‑legislation compliance.
- Drive employee engagement, culture and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Analyse and report on key people metrics to support business performance.
Required profile
- Third‑level qualification in HR or a related discipline (CIPD desirable).
- 3–5+ years’ experience in a generalist HR management role.
- Previous experience within manufacturing, food production, FMCG or a similar operational environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and employee‑relations experience.
- Ability to operate both strategically and operationally.
Required skills
What we offer
- Salary €55,000‑€60,000 per annum.
- Hybrid working – one day per week from home.
- 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
