HR & Manager Development Trainer

About the role

This newly created position sits within a collaborative People team and focuses on building manager capability across the organisation. You will design and deliver engaging learning experiences that help managers become confident, effective leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, coordinate and deliver HR and people‑management training programmes.
• Facilitate interactive workshops on difficult conversations, performance management, accountability, wellbeing, workplace accommodations and return‑to‑work discussions.
• Lead focus groups, learning sessions and manager development forums.
• Build strong relationships with managers to identify capability gaps and development needs.
• Administer the Learning Management System (LMS), including onboarding, leadership, compliance and professional development programmes.
• Manage learning budgets, monitor training spend and assess ROI.
• Source, evaluate and manage external learning solutions, qualifications and partnerships with universities and professional bodies such as the Irish Management Institute.
• Produce reports on participation, engagement and training effectiveness.

Required profile

• Passion for developing managers and enhancing people leadership.
• Comfortable facilitating workshops, leading discussions and coaching managers through real‑life challenges.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and ability to identify development needs.
• Experience managing LMS administration and coordinating learning initiatives.
