HR Manager

About the role

Hawksmoor Dublin is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the day‑to‑day people operations for its award‑winning restaurant. This hands‑on, site‑based position works closely with the Head of HR and the wider People team to ensure a fair, consistent and supportive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily HR operations for the Dublin restaurant.
• Partner with managers on employee relations, performance, absence and probation matters.
• Maintain accurate HR records, contracts, right‑to‑work checks and ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation.
• Support payroll, tronc and people data processes.
• Oversee onboarding, statutory leave and return‑to‑work processes.
• Coach managers to handle people matters confidently and fairly.
• Drive engagement, wellbeing and internal communication initiatives.
• Analyse people data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Manager, People Manager or HR generalist.
• Strong track record handling employee relations cases, including performance, conduct, absence and grievance matters.
• In‑depth knowledge of Irish employment law and WRC standards.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, operational environment.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Trusted partner to managers with excellent communication and coaching abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR systems such as Harri, Timepoint or Thrive.
