Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

You will support the HR Director in delivering the people strategy across multiple sites in the Republic of Ireland, including remote locations. Acting as the primary HR contact for designated sites, you will translate people plans into practical outcomes, focusing on employee relations, workforce development, and change initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead site‑level people plans and align them with the broader HR strategy.
• Serve as the main HR lead for assigned sites, including virtual check‑ins with remote teams.
• Coach line managers and build capability in day‑to‑day people practices.
• Manage employee‑relations cases end‑to‑end, escalating high‑risk matters to the HR Director.
• Support local HR operations, ensuring policies are communicated, implemented, and compliant with legislation.
• Drive local change and engagement, including restructures and workforce adjustments.

Required profile

• CIPD qualified (or working towards qualification).
• Proven HR generalist experience in manufacturing, construction, or a similar operational sector.
• Strong track record handling employee‑relations cases from start to finish.
• Excellent knowledge of Irish employment law.
• Desirable: degree in HR or business, experience supporting multi‑site operations, understanding of UK employment law, and experience with BambooHR.
