Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function for a growing fresh produce and logistics business in West County Dublin. Reporting to senior management, you will provide both strategic guidance and day‑to‑day operational support, ensuring compliance and fostering a high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the HR team while managing all HR processes.
• Maintain HR systems, employee records and ensure data protection compliance.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, relations and off‑boarding.
• Design and implement initiatives to boost employee engagement, wellbeing and retention.
• Advise managers on performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Conduct disciplinary and grievance procedures and mediate employee relations issues.
• Collaborate with Payroll on employee changes and support compliance audits.
• Participate in employee representative meetings and operational management forums.
• Partner with senior leadership on workforce planning, reporting and compliance.

Required profile

• Relevant degree and/or CIPD qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of HR experience in a managerial or senior role.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR systems, preferably Strandum HR software.
