Indirect Tax Analyst

About the role
This position sits within a multinational organisation’s established international indirect tax team in Cork. It offers hands‑on exposure to EMEA VAT compliance, alongside involvement in tax projects, system enhancements and process improvements. The role is ideal for someone eager to deepen their indirect tax expertise in a global environment with strong leadership and robust processes.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review VAT returns across EMEA jurisdictions.
- Manage Intrastat declarations and EC Sales Listings.
- Support indirect tax compliance for multiple countries.
- Participate in tax‑related projects, system upgrades and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with finance and tax stakeholders both locally and internationally.
Required profile
- Experience in indirect tax or VAT compliance, either from a practice or industry setting.
- Open‑minded background with a willingness to learn and take a hands‑on approach.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Collaborative team player with an interest in systems and continuous improvement.
