Inside Sales Representative

About the role

MathWorks is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join its Commercial Sales organization. The role combines proactive prospecting with full‑cycle sales, allowing you to manage license and training opportunities from qualification through close within a defined territory.

Key responsibilities

• Own the sales process for software licenses and training, using Salesforce to track opportunities.
• Identify, develop, and close new business through targeted prospecting campaigns.
• Collaborate with field sales colleagues to shape territory strategy and review the sales funnel.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers to understand and solve technical and business challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with at least 4 years of sales experience.
• Minimum 2 years of inside‑sales experience, including lead generation, qualification and phone/web prospecting.
• Proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and sales KPIs.
• Customer‑focused, highly responsive, collaborative with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in French and an additional European language.
