Internal Auditor (Hybrid, Global Travel)

About the role

The Internal Auditor will support the Head of Internal Audit in delivering the annual audit plan across the Group. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement and involves approximately 20% global travel.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete reviews of financial and operational processes in line with the Internal Audit Plan.
• Produce detailed working papers, draft concise audit reports and obtain management responses.
• Provide insights, challenge existing controls constructively and ensure timely delivery of assignments.
• Work with business units to address audit findings and implement recommendations.
• Conduct follow‑up audits to verify that action plans from internal and external audit reports are effective.
• Assist in preparing communications for the Audit Committee and senior management.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Legal and other heads to enhance corporate governance, risk management and internal controls.
• Liaise with external auditors as required.

Required profile

• ACA qualified, preferably with Big 4 training.
• 0–2 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Strong analytical, technical and commercial acumen.
• Ability to challenge management constructively and work independently or as part of a team.
