Internal Auditor (IT)

About the role

Dexcom is seeking an Internal Auditor (IT) to join its global internal audit function. In this role you will help ensure the integrity, security, and effectiveness of the company’s information technology environment, supporting Dexcom’s mission to improve health outcomes worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on IT audit engagements covering systems, applications, infrastructure and related processes.
• Assess the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls, including security, change management, and data integrity.
• Identify risks, recommend remediation actions and follow up on implementation.
• Collaborate with business units, IT teams and senior management to promote best practices and continuous improvement.
• Maintain audit documentation in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Professional audit experience, preferably with a focus on information technology.
• Understanding of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001) and regulatory standards.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IT audit methodologies and control testing.
• Familiarity with risk assessment techniques and compliance requirements.
• Experience using audit software or data analysis tools.
