Internal Auditor

About the role

The Internal Auditor will join Chadwicks Group’s Internal Audit team to perform audit reviews across the business, support the development of the audit programme and add value to the organisation through risk identification and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on internal audit reviews, including testing and documentation.
• Draft audit reports with findings, recommendations and agreed action plans; follow‑up on implementation.
• Assist in developing the internal audit programme and identifying new audit opportunities.
• Identify risks in existing systems and procedures, advise management and support improvements.
• Contribute to the creation and revision of policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, corporate governance and relevant legislation.
• Liaise with internal control functions across Grafton Group companies.
• Support ad‑hoc investigations, projects, reporting and presentations.

• Readiness to travel regularly within Ireland.
