International Tax Reporting Lead

About the role
Stripe is looking for an International Tax Reporting Lead to join its Dublin team. You will be the go‑to expert on cross‑border tax reporting requirements, working closely with finance, product and engineering to ensure compliance with emerging tax regimes worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the subject‑matter expert for international tax reporting frameworks such as CESOP, DAC7 and Merchant Acquirer reporting.
- Own the design, implementation and ongoing management of complex international tax reporting projects.
- Partner with indirect tax compliance leads and global teams to enhance tax compliance processes for POS and e‑commerce.
- Lead tax reporting audits and coordinate responses to tax authority inquiries.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define tax requirements and develop user‑focused tax solutions.
- Drive tax awareness across the organization through training and communication of legislative changes.
Required profile
- 6–8 years of experience in tax information reporting, including knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree and a professional qualification in tax, law or a related field.
- Proven ability to communicate complex tax concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
Required skills
- Expertise in CESOP, DAC7, and Merchant Acquirer reporting frameworks.
- Strong understanding of international tax compliance and audit processes.
