Inventory Management Assistant Analyst (up to 6 months)

About the role

This position is responsible for day‑to‑day planning and operational execution for PepsiCo’s contract manufacturing partner (Doehler). You will manage MRP‑driven supply signals, purchase order conversion, and ensure accurate inventory visibility while supporting the broader Supply Planning function.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily planning activities for the contract manufacturing partner, responding accurately to MRP signals.
• Analyse purchase requisitions and convert them into Purchase Orders and Stock Transfer Orders.
• Own open order book management and close‑out processes at period, quarter and year ends.
• Maintain audit trails for open items, receipts, and invoice/GR/IR follow‑up.
• Ensure PepsiCo systems correctly reflect contract manufacturing inventory held at Doehler.
• Handle escalations from Customer Services and Inventory, and coordinate issue resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across PGCS, including Planning, Inventory, Quality, Finance and Plant Procurement.
• Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance using agreed KPIs and hold bi‑weekly calls with the supplier.
• Support cross‑functional problem solving and drive continuous improvement through root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• Experience managing MRP‑driven supply signals and purchase order conversion.
• Strong analytical skills for order book and inventory management.
• Ability to maintain clear audit trails and ensure data integrity in ERP systems.
• Proactive communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Capability to monitor supplier performance and manage material reserve risks.
