Investment Analyst – Venture Capital

About the role
An established Irish venture capital firm is looking for a commercially‑minded Investment Analyst to join its growing team. The position offers exposure to the full investment lifecycle, from deal sourcing through to portfolio monitoring and fundraising.
Key responsibilities
- Source and screen potential investment opportunities.
- Conduct due diligence, financial analysis and prepare investment memos.
- Support investment committee preparation and decision making.
- Execute transactions and manage post‑closing integration.
- Monitor portfolio companies and provide value‑add support.
- Prepare investor reports and communications.
- Assist with fundraising and business development activities.
Required profile
- Experience or exposure to venture capital, private equity, investment banking or corporate finance.
- Ability to contribute meaningfully to investment evaluation and execution.
- Strong relationship‑building skills with portfolio companies and ecosystem partners.
- Consistent delivery of high‑quality analysis, memos and reporting.
- Sound judgement, curiosity and an investor mindset.
