IT Field Engineer – Hybrid (1 day/week) – Ireland

About the role

We are looking for an IT Field Engineer to support a major rollout project across Dublin. The role is hybrid with one day per week onsite at client sites and involves hands‑on deployment and support of hardware and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, image and configure PCs, laptops and iOS/Android smart devices.
• Support VMware virtual desktops and Windows Server/Active Directory environments.
• Maintain Cisco, HP and Aruba networking equipment and perform network patching.
• Provide support for specialised infrastructure such as CCTV, control‑room services, digital radios and Avaya/Cisco telephony.
• Ensure networked printers and scanners are operational and document technical processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of IT field support experience.
• Full clean driving licence and own vehicle.
• Fluent English.
• Irish, UK, EU citizenship or Stamp 4 visa.
• Ability to work on‑site in Central Dublin one day per week.

Required skills

• VMware virtualization.
• Networking (Cisco, HP, Aruba).
• Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Imaging and configuration of PCs, laptops and mobile devices.
• CCTV, control‑room, digital radio and Avaya/Cisco telephony support.
