IT On‑Site Support Engineer – Student Experience Programme

About the role

The IT On‑Site Support Engineer will provide technical assistance to students and staff within the student experience programme. This role ensures that all IT equipment and digital learning platforms operate smoothly, enhancing productivity and learning outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, projectors, and other classroom devices.
• Assist with setup and upkeep of digital learning platforms and classroom technology.
• Monitor IT systems, respond to incidents, and minimise service disruptions.
• Collaborate with the central IT team to escalate and resolve complex problems.
• Provide basic IT training and guidance to users.
• Maintain accurate records of support tickets, resolutions, and equipment inventory.
• Support the rollout of new technologies and initiatives within the programme.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT support, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
