IT Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Tier 1 IT Support Engineer to join Stripe’s Corporate Technology Services team. In this role you will provide hands‑on, in‑person assistance to employees, contractors and vendors, ensuring that all hardware, software and SaaS tools run smoothly across our global offices.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical assistance for computer systems, hardware and software via in‑person, email, Slack or ticketing channels.
• Run diagnostic programs, troubleshoot scripts, automation and Stripe‑provided devices (macOS, Chrome OS, iOS, peripherals).
• Support and maintain core SaaS tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, JIRA and Confluence.
• Facilitate laptop provisioning for new‑hire onboarding and fleet upgrades.
• Assist with onboarding training, maintain internal and external IT documentation, and manage IT assets.
• Provide on‑site HelpDesk support for printers, Zoom Rooms, room schedulers and other office technology.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and contribute to global off‑boarding tasks.

Required profile

• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment while collaborating with a global team.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and initiative to take ownership of tickets and projects.
• Excellent communication skills for guiding users through troubleshooting steps.

Required skills

• macOS, Chrome OS and iOS device troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and IT asset management.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and on‑site hardware support (printers, Zoom Rooms).
