IT Support Engineer – Onsite (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Onsite Support Engineer to join our Dublin team on a contract basis. You will act as the primary on‑site representative, delivering installation, maintenance and troubleshooting for a range of hardware and software across our customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure desktops, laptops, servers and networking equipment.
• Perform on‑site troubleshooting and repair hardware where possible.
• Respond to user support requests both in person and remotely, using our ticketing system.
• Maintain accurate records of support activities and outcomes.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about customer service and able to adapt to varied environments.
• Quick learner with strong interpersonal skills.
• 0‑1 years of experience in an IT support role.

Required skills

• PC, laptop and server hardware knowledge.
• Windows Server 2008/2012.
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Networking and Active Directory.
• Desktop OS: Windows 7, 8, 10 and macOS.
• Apple/Mac devices and Citrix environments.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and ITIL processes.
• Relevant certifications (MCP, MCITP, A+, CCENT) – desirable.
