Java Full Stack Engineer (Contract) – Dublin

About the role

We are looking for a Java Full Stack Engineer to join a leading global payments and fintech organisation. You will work on large‑scale, customer‑facing digital platforms, delivering secure, scalable and modern solutions used worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance enterprise‑grade applications across backend and frontend.
• Implement features using Java (Spring Boot, Spring, Hibernate) and React.
• Integrate and maintain Kafka‑based distributed systems.
• Participate in cloud‑based application development, CI/CD pipelines and Agile ceremonies.
• Ensure performance, scalability and reliability of the delivered solutions.

Required profile

• Strong experience as a Java full‑stack engineer.
• Proficiency with modern web frameworks, especially React.
• Exposure to distributed systems and event streaming (Kafka).
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced Agile teams.
