Laboratory Technician

About the role

Kinisla is looking for a full‑time, seasonal Laboratory Technician to join its Powder Lab at the Kinisla Ingredients site in Charleville, Co. Cork. You will work on a 3‑shift rotation, testing raw materials, in‑process samples and finished dairy powders to ensure they meet strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse raw milk, whey, skim and milk powder samples in accordance with GLP and internal procedures.
• Record test data accurately, maintain clear laboratory records and ensure consumables are stocked.
• Perform basic instrument calibration, maintenance and Leco equipment support.
• Participate in proficiency testing, internal and external audits, and site inspections.
• Dispatch samples for external analysis and manage the results.
• Provide flexible support to other lab functions when required.

Required profile

• Flexibility to work across different labs and shift patterns.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong attention to detail within a quality‑control environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with auditors and external parties.
