About the role
Affidea Group is seeking an experienced Lead Patient Administrator to manage the front‑office function at its Tallaght clinic on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. This senior‑level position is responsible for delivering a high‑quality, patient‑focused service while leading a team of administrators.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Patient Administrator team, ensuring exceptional patient and customer service.
- Coach, train and support team members to drive performance and professional development.
- Oversee handling of patient enquiries, requests and complaints in a timely, professional manner.
- Supervise daily operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy and productivity.
- Plan staffing levels, support recruitment and maintain rosters, annual leave schedules and resource planning.
- Coordinate communication between clinical and administrative teams and work closely with the Clinical Manager on clinic staffing.
- Implement and maintain operational policies, systems and standard operating procedures.
- Manage administration stock orders, deliveries and stock control systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, JCI quality standards, health & safety and hygiene requirements.
Required profile
- Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) or higher qualification.
- Proven experience leading or supervising a busy, customer‑focused team.
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work onsite in Tallaght and manage a front‑office environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
