Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (B1.3) – Helicopter Operations

About the role

Airbus International Services (AIS) is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) B1.3 to support its Helicopter Operations Department worldwide. The role involves providing technical assistance for Airbus helicopter fleets, ensuring maintenance is performed to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Airbus helicopters in accordance with AMM, RDAS, SB and other OEM documentation.
• Rectify reported defects and guarantee zero‑defect post‑inspection.
• Deliver on‑site field service support and on‑the‑job training for customer personnel.
• Answer technical queries from customers and assist with maintenance planning.
• Ensure compliance with quality regulations and Part 145 requirements during all maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with the AIS Head of Mission and act as a liaison with customer technical contacts.

Required profile

• Valid EASA Part 66 licence (B1.3) with type rating on at least one Airbus helicopter model.
• Proven experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably within helicopter fleets.
• Strong knowledge of Part 145 maintenance organisations and ability to sign off official maintenance documents.
• Willingness to work on‑site at customer premises, potentially in remote locations.
