Lightning Protection Technician - Munster

About the role

LPI Group is looking for experienced Lightning Protection Technicians to join our team in Munster. You will work on high‑profile data centre and tall‑structure projects across Europe, installing and upgrading lightning protection and earthing systems while ensuring the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install lightning protection and earthing systems on data centres and a variety of tall structures, following pre‑designed schemes, drawings, risk assessments and method statements.
• Upgrade existing lightning protection systems according to client specifications and project instructions.
• Complete all required paperwork – risk assessments, job sheets, marked‑up drawings, material schedules and timesheets – and return them to the office team.
• Provide on‑site communication and technical advice to clients and project managers, representing the company professionally at all times.
• Maintain strict health, safety and environmental standards, ensuring all work is performed safely and in compliance with regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the construction industry or a similar environment.
• Electrical experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience on commercial and industrial projects, particularly data centres.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and teamwork abilities.
• Good knowledge of health and safety protocols and the EQHS Management System.
• Fluency in English; additional languages (German, Dutch, French, Spanish) are a plus.
• Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, Working at Height and IPAF certifications.
