Locum Pharmacist – Flexible Hours

About the role

We are seeking locum pharmacists to provide flexible, on‑site support across hospitals, community pharmacies and specialist healthcare settings in Ireland. The role offers both full‑time and part‑time options, allowing you to match your schedule with your lifestyle while delivering essential medication services.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and safely in accordance with Irish pharmacy law.
• Provide patient counseling on medication use, dosage, and potential side effects.
• Maintain and verify pharmacy inventory, ensuring stock levels meet clinical demand.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Document dispensing activities and adhere to regulatory reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) – mandatory.
• Minimum six months experience working in an Irish dispensary.
• Legal authorization to work in Ireland.
• Open to recent graduates as well as experienced pharmacists.

Required skills

• Medication dispensing.

• Knowledge of Irish pharmacy regulations.
