Lorry Driver – Class 2 HGV (Monaghan)

About the role

This role offers a dedicated HGV Class 2 driver the chance to join Panda, Ireland’s leading waste‑management business, based at the Monaghan depot (A75 P267). You will operate a variety of Class 2 vehicles—including skip, RoRo and bin lorries—to support daily waste‑collection routes.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily and weekly vehicle safety and compliance checks.
• Plan and execute assigned collection and delivery routes efficiently.
• Maintain accurate electronic and written records of trips and loads.
• Communicate with team members to ensure smooth operational flow.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of professional driving experience.
• Clean, valid Category C licence.
• Current Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC qualification.
• Age over 25 years for insurance purposes.
• Strong commitment to safety.

What we offer

• Competitive base pay of €18.00 per hour.
• Overtime rate of €18.50 per hour.
• Full‑time, stable schedule with early start (5 am‑8 am), Monday‑Friday and occasional Saturday (full‑day pay for half‑day work).
