Maintenance Supervisor – Production Equipment Repair & Maintenance Leader

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor will lead the preventive and predictive maintenance program at PepsiCo’s Carrigaline site, ensuring equipment reliability, production uptime and audit readiness. Reporting to the Site Maintenance Lead, you will collaborate closely with Automation, Safety, Quality and Operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance activities, planning and releasing work orders in SAP to achieve high PM compliance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and control‑related issues in real time, supporting production.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and develop action plans to reduce downtime.
• Supervise, coach and develop a team of Maintenance Technicians, running tier meetings and balancing workload.
• Drive safety compliance with LOTO, Permit‑to‑Work, risk assessments and contractor management.
• Maintain audit‑ready maintenance areas and support internal and external plant audits.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement opportunities and best practices from PepsiCo’s global network.

Required profile

• Technical qualification in Engineering or Maintenance (engineering degree preferred).
• 3–5 years experience in maintenance supervision or senior maintenance/engineering roles.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
