Manager Strategic Sourcing

About the role

We are looking for a Manager Strategic Sourcing to lead our sourcing function for innovative neuro‑diagnostic technologies. Based in Gort, Co. Galway, you will work in a hybrid model (two days onsite) and report to senior operations leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing Strategic Sourcing team.
• Shape and deliver category strategies that support growth, cost objectives and long‑term supplier partnerships.
• Drive measurable results across cost, quality, service, risk and innovation.
• Strengthen sourcing processes, implement tools and enhance governance frameworks.
• Oversee supplier selection, qualification, audits and performance management.
• Ensure supplier compliance with GMP and quality standards.
• Identify and mitigate supply‑chain risk proactively.
• Partner cross‑functionally to resolve supplier and operational challenges.
• Support budgeting, planning and long‑term function development.

Required profile

• Experience in Strategic Sourcing or Supply Chain, preferably in a regulated environment such as medical devices or pharma.
• Leadership style that motivates, supports and develops teams while driving accountability and continuous improvement.
• Proven experience owning and delivering category strategies with measurable impact.
• Ability to align sourcing strategies with business goals and KPIs.
• Experience driving process improvements, tools implementation and capability building.
• Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
