Member of Engineering – Agent Sandboxes

About the role

This position is based in Ireland and focuses on building secure, scalable sandbox environments for next‑generation AI agents. You will work at the intersection of platform engineering, distributed systems, and machine learning infrastructure, enabling large‑scale experimentation and model training.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement highly reliable sandboxed execution environments for intelligent agents and code execution.
• Own the full development lifecycle from architecture through deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with research, engineering, and platform teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Continuously improve reliability, scalability, security, and performance of sandbox infrastructure.
• Evaluate and integrate isolation techniques, container runtimes, and runtime strategies.
• Develop systems that support massive concurrent execution workloads.
• Enhance observability, automation, and infrastructure management processes.

Required profile

• Strong systems engineering background with experience in distributed platforms and large‑scale infrastructure.
• Hands‑on expertise with container orchestration (Kubernetes or equivalent).
• Proficiency in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
• Deep understanding of virtualization, container runtimes, and sandboxing techniques.
• Experience building and operating CI/CD or developer infrastructure platforms.
