Mid-Market Sales Manager – Google Customer Solutions

About the role

Google Customer Solutions is looking for a Mid‑Market Sales Manager to lead a high‑performing team that helps medium‑size advertisers across the UK and Ireland achieve growth with Google’s advertising products. You will act as a trusted advisor, shaping strategy and delivering measurable results for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a sales team to understand advertiser needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Own the strategy, planning and execution of team‑wide account growth and product adoption.
• Set and track ambitious business targets, OKRs and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to align on go‑to‑market initiatives.
• Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the Mid‑Market Sales segment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 11 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development or IT (or 8 years with an advanced degree).
• Proven people‑management experience leading sales teams.
• Experience managing executive‑level relationships with customers, agencies or service partners.
• Background in advertising, marketing or sales, preferably within a complex, matrixed organization.
• Strong knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategies and e‑commerce dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to coach sales behaviours, handle objections and engage C‑level stakeholders.
• Independent, problem‑solving mindset thriving in a rapidly changing environment.
