Mobile Application Developer

About the role

We are looking for an Android engineer to build and enhance the native Android experience for BJAK's AI‑powered Neobank app. You will work on clean user flows, high‑performance features, and reliable mobile services that serve real customers across insurance, payments, claims, renewals and broader financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship Android features using Kotlin.
• Create intuitive mobile flows for complex financial products.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify user journeys.
• Integrate backend REST APIs and ensure stability, security, and reliability.
• Optimize app performance, crash rates, loading states, responsiveness and memory usage.
• Use analytics and production data to continuously improve the product.
• Implement AI‑assisted experiences only when they add clear user value.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong fundamentals in Android and a track record of shipping production apps.
• Attention to mobile UX, edge cases, and overall product quality.
• Ability to work fast, take ownership and troubleshoot production issues.
