Network Security Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Network Security Analyst to join our Dublin office and support multiple customers in a fast‑paced Managed Service Provider environment. You will contribute to security operations, incident response and continuous service improvement while working with a variety of Microsoft and security platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to alerts across security platforms such as Huntress, Microsoft Defender and SOC/SIEM tools.
• Investigate, triage and, when necessary, escalate security incidents.
• Manage security‑related tickets in Autotask and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support endpoint protection solutions (Defender, Webroot, Datto AV) and email security platforms (Barracuda, Mimecast, Datto SaaS Protection).
• Assist with Microsoft Intune device enrollment, configuration and monitoring.
• Support Cloud Shield services and basic administration of Conditional Access policies.
• Participate in incident response activities and provide security escalation support to managed services teams.
• Help deliver Security Awareness Training and contribute to ongoing security improvements.

Required profile

• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, including endpoints, servers and basic networking.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows environments (desktop and server).
• Basic knowledge of cloud security concepts in Microsoft 365, Azure and identity management.
• Familiarity with Conditional Access and identity security concepts.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop in security.
