About the role

The New Graduate Staff Nurse will join a network of hospitals across the Dublin and Midlands region, delivering high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care. This entry‑level position is designed for recent nursing graduates ready to apply their academic knowledge in a clinical setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with professional standards.
• Provide holistic, person‑centred care that promotes independence and enhances quality of life for patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective treatment.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital policies.

Required profile

• Current 4th‑year nursing degree student completing a 36‑week clinical placement, OR graduate who completed a BSc (Honours) in General Nursing by September 2026.
• Eligibility for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) upon appointment.
• Commitment to maintain live annual registration on the General Nurse Division register.
