Newly Qualified Accountant – Aircraft Leasing

About the role

We are partnering with a leading Dublin‑based aircraft leasing company to add a newly qualified accountant to their finance team. This position is ideal for a high‑calibre accountant with strong technical aircraft leasing experience who wants to progress quickly within the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS and GAAP.
• Deliver quarterly reporting requirements.
• Liaise closely with external auditors.
• Support period‑end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Provide accounting and commercial input on aircraft leasing transactions.
• Support ad‑hoc projects and tasks as directed by the Finance Manager.

Required profile

• Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Big 4 audit background.
• Strong technical experience within aircraft leasing financial reporting.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capability.
• Strong organisational and project‑management skills with excellent attention to detail.
• High quantitative ability and proven track record of working to tight deadlines.
