Newly Qualified Accountant – Aircraft Leasing

About the role

We are partnering with a Dublin‑based aircraft leasing platform to recruit a Financial Accountant. This position offers broad exposure to management reporting, technical accounting under IFRS and GAAP, and commercial finance within the aircraft leasing sector.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting schedules.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations for aircraft, debt, reserves and deposits.
• Support month‑end close, post journal entries and assist with audits.
• Handle technical accounting matters, including IFRS, GAAP and CSRD compliance.
• Assist with tax reporting, provisions, budgeting and forecasting.
• Liaise with outsourced service providers and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to finance process improvements and projects.
• Manage bank accounts and cash activities.

Required profile

• Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• At least 2 years of relevant experience; aircraft leasing exposure is a plus.
• Strong general‑ledger knowledge and high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
