Newly Qualified Accountant – High Growth Advisory

About the role
This position is designed for a newly qualified accountant eager to move beyond traditional accounting into a commercially focused advisory environment. You will join a fast‑growing professional services firm that supports founder‑led businesses across Ireland, delivering outsourced finance, accounting and strategic advice.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver management accounts, month‑end reporting and reconciliations for a portfolio of high‑growth SMEs.
- Produce commercial reports, KPI dashboards and management insights to aid client decision‑making.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow planning and fundraising readiness projects.
- Build trusted relationships with founders and finance teams, understanding their commercial objectives.
- Identify and implement process‑improvement opportunities through automation and finance technology.
- Collaborate with tax, corporate advisory and specialist teams to provide integrated client solutions.
- Assist with new client onboarding, system reviews and finance process assessments.
Required profile
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification, recently qualified.
- Experience in practice, audit, outsourced accounting, advisory or industry.
- Strong interest in SMEs, start‑ups or high‑growth businesses.
- Commercial mindset with excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Curious, proactive and keen on finance technology, automation and process improvement.
Required skills
- Financial reporting and month‑end close.
- Budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
- Use of finance and reporting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar).
