Night Cleaner / Night Butler

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position works four 10‑hour night shifts per week, starting around 10 pm and finishing at 8 am. Reporting to the Night Butler or Manager on duty, you will maintain the highest standards of cleanliness across public and back‑of‑house areas while supporting guest comfort and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Clean all reception rooms, public areas, toilets, corridors, staff canteen, changing rooms, and stairwells to the highest standards.
• Control access to guest rooms, directing unknown persons to reception.
• Report accidents, fire incidents, damage, and maintenance needs using the established reporting system.
• Occasionally cover Night Butler duties, including security patrols, answering the house telephone, handling guest messages, serving light food and drinks, assisting with luggage, and checking in late‑arriving guests.

Required profile

• Self‑driven individual able to follow instructions and work independently.
• Flexibility to cover additional duties and occasional staff shortages.
• Ability to maintain high cleanliness standards and ensure guest safety.
