Night Porter – Castle Hotel

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Night Porter to join our four‑star castle hotel in Cabra. You will be the first point of contact for guests arriving late, ensuring safety, comfort, and a seamless overnight experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests on arrival and departure, including luggage handling.
• Perform late‑night check‑ins following hotel policies.
• Answer telephone calls professionally, take messages and relay them promptly.
• Provide light food and beverage service to residents and their guests.
• Handle night‑time cash transactions and maintain accurate accounting.
• Conduct regular security patrols focusing on guest safety, fire safety, and building security.
• Carry out cleaning duties in public areas, toilets, and bars according to the nightly checklist.
• Complete safety checks via the Logit system and report any issues immediately.
• Assist with early breakfast service and dining‑room setup.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and support colleagues during quieter periods.

Required profile

• Professional, courteous demeanor with excellent communication skills.
• Previous hospitality or security experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest safety and satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a close‑knit night team.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for guests and colleagues.
