Night Shift Loader/Offloader

About the role

Join DFDS as a Loader/Offloader on the night shift (22:00‑06:00) in Rathcoole. You will help keep the warehouse running smoothly by loading and unloading trucks, trailers and containers while maintaining a safe, organised environment.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload goods from trucks, trailers and containers safely and efficiently.
• Move products to designated storage or staging areas.
• Inspect shipments for damage, shortages or discrepancies.
• Organise and stack products securely to prevent damage.
• Operate manual handling equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts (where certified).
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area.
• Report damaged goods, equipment issues or safety concerns.

Required profile

• Previous experience in loading, unloading, warehouse or logistics operations.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and good time‑management skills.
• Commitment to safe material‑handling practices.
• Reliability, punctuality and a team‑oriented attitude.
