Ocean Freight Operator

About the role

Join CEVA Logistics' Air and Ocean Operations team in Dublin as an Ocean Freight Operator. You will plan, book and manage ocean freight imports and exports, ensuring smooth, compliant and efficient international transport for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, book and manage ocean freight import and export shipments to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate with customers, carriers and subcontractors to ensure seamless transport operations.
• Prepare and manage customs documentation, shipping paperwork and freight records in line with international trade regulations, including Incoterms.
• Monitor shipment progress, proactively resolve issues or delays, and provide excellent customer service throughout the process.
• Identify and support continuous‑improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong background in ocean freight forwarding, international logistics or supply chain management.
• Solid understanding of customs procedures and international trade regulations, including Incoterms.
• Proficiency with logistics systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for regular interaction with customers, carriers and internal teams.
• High attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
