Onsite Engineer

About the role

The Onsite Engineer will support installed robotic and automation systems in a hybrid work environment based in Ashbourne, County Meath. You will monitor system health, perform corrective and preventive maintenance, and ensure smooth operation of warehouse automation equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor dashboards (Tower, Grafana, MD) and bot status, handling alarms and task backlogs.
• Diagnose and repair hardware/software failures, replace faulty components, and verify fixes before returning bots to operation.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, bolt torquing, belt tensioning, sensor cleaning, and safety system testing.
• Provide remote debugging support by sharing logs, photos, and videos with the remote support team.
• Coordinate Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and manage firmware/software upgrades with minimal production disruption.
• Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, perform safety audits, and document any safety incidents.
• Track critical spare parts inventory, initiate replenishment, and maintain consumption records.
• Create and manage technical tickets for all incidents, ensuring timely closure and reporting.

Required profile

• 1‑4 years of hands‑on experience with automation equipment, robotics systems, or industrial control systems.
• Experience in warehouse automation or industrial robotics is preferred.
• Familiarity with AMR/AGV deployments or large‑scale field implementations is an advantage.
