Operational Risk Associate

About the role

Pantheon is seeking an Operational Risk Associate to join its Enterprise Risk function. The role will support the development, implementation and oversight of operational risk frameworks across the firm’s global activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating and applying Pantheon’s global operational risk policies and procedures.
• Support ISAE 3402 / SSAE 16 annual attestations, including documentation and control wording.
• Conduct process and control reviews to identify risks, monitor programmes and evaluate new business processes.
• Manage error and incident reporting, investigate serious breaches and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide risk oversight for third‑party supplier relationships across Pantheon entities.
• Support business continuity planning, testing programmes and related documentation.
• Maintain and develop a centralised library of processes, risks and controls within the strategic risk system.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education.
• Experience in a risk function, preferably within investment banking, asset management or private equity.
• Understanding of investment management products and processes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong escalation judgement.
• Awareness of control environments and problem‑solving orientation.
