Operations Coordinator

About the role

Eurofins Scientific is seeking an Operations Coordinator to act as the technical interface and customer champion within a busy food and dairy chemistry environment. This fixed‑term, part‑time position (25 hours per week) ensures that customer requirements are understood and delivered through effective coordination with internal teams and partner laboratories.

Key responsibilities

• Track incoming shipments, log receipt status, and follow up on delayed or missing consignments.
• Monitor shared mailboxes, review and action incoming queries, requests, and notifications.
• Liaise with other Eurofins sites to resolve sample routing issues and clarify testing requirements.
• Process additional sample requests, ensure correct documentation, and hand over to the preparation team.
• Update and adjust test codes, maintaining accuracy before samples progress.
• Maintain accurate records of all actions, updates, and communications for traceability and compliance.
• Escalate discrepancies, missing information, or operational concerns to supervisors or managers.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives for sample registration, preparation, and communication processes.
• Adhere to Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental policies and ISO 17025 standards.

Required profile

• Strong organisational ability and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams, external partners, and customers.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced laboratory environment.
• Commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance with SOPs.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 17025 standards and laboratory quality procedures.
• Experience with sample tracking and laboratory documentation systems.
