Part Qualified Accountant – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term (Dublin West)

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious, hard‑working Part Qualified Accountant to join our finance team in Dublin West on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract covering maternity leave. Working closely with the Finance Director, you will gain broad exposure to the business and take ownership of a variety of finance projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly accounts, perform reconciliations and deliver financial reports to tight deadlines.
• Manage day‑to‑day finance tasks including accounts receivable, invoice processing, payments, bank lodgements and credit‑card expense handling.
• Prepare and file VAT, Intrastat and VIES returns for Revenue and HMRC on a monthly, bi‑monthly and quarterly basis.
• Assemble the year‑end audit file and liaise with external auditors during fieldwork.
• Produce weekly/fortnightly 8‑week cash‑flow forecasts and manage working‑capital facilities.
• Support FP&A by creating analysis and reports using CRM data, Excel and Power BI.
• Assist with financial and cost modelling for capital projects and investment options.

Required profile

• Part qualified accountant with relevant industry experience.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can take responsibility for functional areas.
• Strong numeracy, high attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Committed to continuous learning and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
• Flexible attitude and willingness to put in extra effort to complete tasks.
